Disaster Alert: Flooding in New Mexico

Disaster Alert

New Mexico – Several families were evacuated in Dona Ana County yesterday after a storm system flooded parts of the county.

Heavy rain caused flash floods that washed out a major roadway and stranded motorists in Chavez County yesterday.

The ARC in New Mexico opened a shelter and placed human and necessary resources on standby.
The Chapter also supported a county shelter by providing cots and blankets.
