Disaster Alert

New York – There was a series of storms in Central New York Region (Syracuse, NY) and Northeastern New York Region (Albany, NY) with excessive rainfall caused flooding that affected residents throughout several portions of the state and prompted evacuations on Friday. State of Emergency declared in 15 counties. The American Red Cross communicated with local Emergency Management, deployed team members, opened several shelters, supported others, staffed local Emergency Operation Centers and provided Mass Care.
