What is a MARC?
The American Red Cross is one of the organizers of Multi-Agency Resource Centers (MARCs) to make it easier and more efficient to get help to those in need.  Here, the MARC located at the Westmoore High School, is helping to put Moore, OK families in touch with the Red Cross and many other agencies all under one roof.  Examples of agencies/organizations represented include Southern Baptist Disaster Relief, Dell Computer Corporation, Catholic Charities, The NAACP, Save the Children and 18 others, all working together to provide relief. Aside from Moore, these centers are being run at other hard hit Oklahoma areas including Little Axe, Shawnee and Carney. — Photo Credit:  Larry Fortmuller/American Red Cross
