California – Several small fires that have been burning in close proximity to one another in San Diego County for several days now have prompted evacuations in the affected area.
All the fires except for two are now 100% contained, of the two one is 50% and the other 40% contained.
At the request of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the San Diego – Imperial Counties Chapter opened a temporary evacuation point which later transitioned into a shelter.
Chapter will provide mass care and 3 meals per day at the shelter.
The incident command post is staffed by chapter personnel.
